Solihull Hospital is growing to provide a cancer care hub. As part of this the bowel cancer specialists have acquired robots to do certain bowel surgery procedures.
Even robots need a home, however, so the Hospital Trust are fundraising to be able to provide operating tables that can be used with the robots.
The Holly Trust is contributing a significant sum of £30,000 towards the £60,000 cost of these tables. Supporting the Holly Trust Fundraising events goes directly towards supporting bowel cancer treatment with initiatives like these.
